Principal Structure of Water Dispenser
The main functions of a water dispenser are to boil water and to
properly disconnect tap water with boiled water.
Hot Water Principal:
After tap water has been inserted into tap water tank, the tap water
is boiled through heating board and stored into hot water tank.
Ambient Water Principal:
Hot water flowed into ambient water tank to cool down the
temperature. There are two cooling method: 1) leave it until it
naturally cooling down, 2) through the replacement of the ambient
water tank that the ambient water tank is dunked in the tap water
tank. The cooler temperature in the tap water tank will accelerate
the cooling process to cool down hot water in ambient water tank and
at same time the high temperature of the ambient water tank will
accelerate the boiling time for tap water in the tap water tank.
Cold Water Principal:
The cooling devices are compressor and coolen.
Possessive History of Yen Sun’s Water Dispenser
| Movement Principal: |
Tap water is provided directly into hot water tank, heated and boiled by heating board and then dispensed directly through tap. |
| Drawback: |
While serving the hot water, tap water directly recruited into how water tank, mixture of hot water and tap water caused the decrease of hot water temperature and the consumer would be served with un-boiled tap water. |
2.Stop Water Valve (the first tap water non-declension water dispenser in Taiwan)
| Movement Principal: |
A stop water valve is installed as the disconnection
devices between hot water tank and tap water tank. In steady
condition, there is open water circulation between the two
tanks. However, open movement in dispense tap will instruct
the valve to shut down the interconnection route between the
two tanks and the routes will be opened once again once the
dispense tap is closed. The installation ensured that the
consumer would not be served with mixture water of hot and
tap water. |
| Drawback: |
a.There is no installation of stop water valve in
the ambient water tank-there is doubt that the tap water may
flow into the ambient water tank |
| |
b.Need to wait for indicator lamp turns to green
until the water is ready for serving, as a result, it might
be inconvenient for consumers |
| |
c.When the machine is not under usage for long
period of time, there may be a mixture of tap water and hot
water. |
2. A. Manual Single Water Stop Valve
| Movement Principal: |
A stop water valve is installed as the disconnection devices
between hot water tank and tap water tank. A manual switch
is designed that tap water would only be recruited into the
hot water tank when consumer put OFF the switch. Hot water
could be dispensed when the switch is on ON position. The
installation ensures that consumers will not be served with
tap water. |
| Drawback: |
a.Manual valve controller can be inconvenient
under usage. |
| |
b.There is possibility to be served with mixed
water if the consumers forget to put the switch to ON
position. |
| |
c.The hot tank can be dry burned if the consumer
didn’t switch to OFF position to have the tap water
recruited into the hot water tank. |
3.Double Magnetic Valves (Microcomputer re-boil timer)
| Movement Principal: |
There is a closed magnetic valve installed between tap
water tank and hot water tank and another closed magnetic
valve is installed between hot water tank and ambient water
tank. Its movement way is that when water temperature in hot
water tank is lowered, the magnetic valve controlled by
computer IC that is between tap water tank and hot water
tank will be automatically opened, the tap water would flow
into hot water tank and being re-boiled. In the meanwhile,
the pipeline leading to the warm water tank has been closed
too. When the hot water reaches to settled temperature
again, the magnetic valve between tap water tank and hot
water tank will be automatically closed, then the magnetic
valve between hot water tank and ambient water tank will be
opened to supply hot and ambient drinking water again. |
| Drawback: |
a. When the hot water is under boiling condition,
no hot water and ambient water can be served to consumers. |
| |
b.While serving large amount of ambient and hot
water, there are possibilities that to ran out of supply of
water. |
4. Steam type water dispenser (Win the award of the national fine works)
| Movement Principal: |
Taking consumer’s demand of easy to use, health, and
hygiene into consideration since starting point of
designing, Yen Sun developed national first steam type water
dispenser that also obtained national fine work award in the
same year. The principle of the design is that “non-steamed
water cannot pass and served for drinking”. That is to say
when consumers turn on the faucet, water that comes out must
be through boiled. The so-called steam type water dispenser
is also called thermal expansion principle or siphon pipe
principle. Its principle is when tap water passes momentary
heater in the pipe, thermal expansion effects pushes water
into both sides of the pipe, a reverse valve is installed on
one side of the pipe that hot water can only enter to the
hot tank side. Thus, the installation ensures that only
boiled water can be served to consumers. |
